Please can some eagle-eyed UK shopper point me towards a shop where I can buy frozen asparagus? I saw some in Morrisons the other day, but they have already sold out. It seems to be really popular. Is it perhaps supposed to help one lose weight?

Isn't fresh asparagus still in the shops? If so you can buy some and freeze it.

Asda and Iceland seem to list the frozen stuff online.

Ocado sell it but the reviews combined with the price has put me off trying it.

It is an interesting fact, at least I think so, that asparagus doesn't affect everyone that way and not everyone can detect the smell, not necessarily the same people.

Tesco sells it fresh and frozen, although obviously not all stores can be guaranteed, on the subject of it making your urine smell I found that if you eat enough of it (like every day for a whole week) It certainly does!! LOL x

Canned/bottled asparagus might be an option. It's found in most supermarkets.

I spotted some in Tesco this morning. It was hard to spot as tucked behind the door hinge of the cabinets. 1.20 I think for 6 spears.

Thanks, I did buy a tin of asparagus, but it was so soggy I threw most of it on the compost heap.
