It wasn't the result I wanted to see Nigel.......I am a firm fan of Lewis Hamilton. A good podium finish for McLaren Mercedes to finish the season. 2nd/3rd.
However I am soooooo glad Mark Webber lost out. As for Alonso I like the guy, a great driver. I am sorry he lost out as well. Be interesting to see how the sulky Webber gets on next year !
As you say a great race.......a great result for Sebastian Vettel.....he deserves to be the Champion !

I'm a fan of Lewis Hamilton myself Ken, hence why I don't like Fernando Alonso. Just remember when they were both team-mates at Mclaren Mercedes and the spite and bitterness which Alonso showed against Hamilton was unacceptable in my book, and although he is a fantastic driver I just can't quite forgive him for his behaviour at that time.
The Abu Dhabi racing track is a fantastic sight to behold, I would love to go in a two seater round that track but probably wouldn't fit in the car!

I agree to a certain extent about Alonso but I like to forgive and forget. (Some people) Hamilton doesn't seem to have problem with him anymore.......neither do I.
As for going round the circuit....with you there ! I would love to go in a single seater but think there may be a 'slight' problem........ Some years ago we had an open day at work and in the Workshop was Nigel Mansell's 'Red 5', or at least one of them ! Now, we were on nights. We were told under NO circumstances was anybody to mess with the car or display......... :twisted:
So, being good 'little boys'......we totally ignored that and had photos taken checked out the car and exhibits and had a great time. Now me being the adventurous type and never one to stick to the rules (I know !) decided if Nigel Mansell could get in the **** thing so could I.
Bad decision.......I got in it OK, I was about 12 1/2 stone then and as fit as 'a robbers dog !' Problem came when trying to get out of the blessed thing !!! It took the aid of three other pals of mine before I could extricate myself from the cockpit ! Loads of heaving, sweating and swearing. Good laugh for all concerned .....me included.
However I don't think I would be so lucky now.......

I agree with noblehead. Well done sebastian. An excellent race.
I am, however, a Lewis Hamilton fan first and foremost. I think he did well too.
Im just glad Alonso didnt win. He is an arrogant little s*** and holds grudges. I would love to go in a 2 seater but that'll never happen. I'll just have to settle for watching the races on tv!!
