Probably missed something.

I have been and bought Whey powder, I asked about almond flour and they said just use ground almonds, kinda expencive but ok if better for you why not, bought some soya flour also and Flax seed ...so made my first flax bread will inform you what it tastes like afterwards

Am surprised at peanut butter as thought that would be high in sugar but will get a jar in as never tried thta.

All these things are ingredients not meals. I put peanut butter as an ingredient in satay sauce/gravy and I have also used it in Chocolate rum balls for taste and as a binder. I have eaten peanut butter on celery sticks but even then there is not a huge amount involved.

Making everything tasty is the key to success.

Asian shops sell coconut flour £1.50 and big bags of ground almonds £7.50 a kilo. They seem to sell everything else as well apart from ground flax seed (aldi's £1.99)

I'm going to try those sainsburys sausages that were suggested. Sugar free jelly as well you could have.

And if youre craving crisps marks n sparks do a wholegrain honey BBQ flavoured crisp (more like frazzle texture) and if you can manage not to eat the whole bag is 15 carbs for half a bag a bag was 60g in weight. its ideal if your going on holiday and need something to have on the plane.

Oh cheesestrings, and babybels if on offer. Aldis do 8 cheestrigs for about £1.40. Stilton cheese ideal for making your own brocolli and cauliflower soup. and some frozen veg, saves the fresh stuff going off. i use fresh cauli for cauli rice, and the frozen if i make cauli cheese, i just pour cream over it and sprinkle with cheese then cook it.

I bought one of those tefal shredding type machines, when it was on offer in Tesco and i use it at least 3 times a week. I grate the cauli, grate big blocks of cheese at a time, change the shredder attachment then slice courgette unfortunately it only does it width wise not length wise so cant actually try courgette pasta yet. I'm a bit dangerous with a peeler lol.

I just made some flax bread and it is absolutely delicious .....I advice all to try it it wont last a week here lol

oh my it tastes great .... am unsure of the benifits but am sure it has to have some !!

Pork scratchings for snacking.

Peanut butter... There is a lot of difference in qualitys of peanut butter, some do have extra ingredients added in, but there are a lot that are peanuts 95%, and the rest palm oil and sea salt. Carbs are just 4.8g per 100g in Waitrose organic thick n crunchy own make.

Don't overdo flax seed... Whether its on breakfasts or puddings or in food. They say initially to have a teaspon a day...and build up due to the laxative effects.

Coconut oil, chia seeds, extra virgin oil. Good to include homemade dressings or oil over salads.

The thing I would most like to be able to make is a really nice non alcholic low carb drink at home. Friends make their own delicious cordials but thats no good for me!! Frozen berries and fage total yogurt a must.

You can get ground almonds cheaper in Aldi

Make sure you get a sugar free version like meridian, biona or whole earth - a lot of peanut butters are stuffed with suger

I would second coconut oil, and Jellies. Cheese in a number of forms (brie, cheddar, goat etc) a variety of salad items (lettice radish, onions cucumber etc)

Cheese ... lots of cheese.

Bought some peanut butter today from the health food shop she said it was pure peanut butter nothing added...so gonna try it

I just bought a kilo of crunchy peanut butter from bulk powders. When looking around the majority is 95% peanut butter. This is 100%. Will,et you know what it's like. I order their coconut oil and coconut flour etc from them and it's brilliant, the reviews for the butter are good so will let you know. I have a code for £5.00 off for others to use.. If anybody else wants to try please pm me for the code...

My heart specialist sternly warned me off three things.
#1 Not too much cheese
#2 Processed meat
#3 I bottle of scotch per week is far far too much
