If you try the top option a delicious addition is to roast the nuts (I add some spices). The only issue with this is that it takes an already moreish food to another level.
Going to give that a try

I agree. Ditch the Shredded wheat, and any other breakfast cereal including porridge. Swap over to fats and protein, and keep away from carbs at breakfast time. As suggested above, eggs, bacon, mushrooms, a tomato, cheese, cold meats, full fat Greek yogurt with 2 or 3 strawberries or half a dozen raspberries to sweeten it.
I like eggs not keen on bacon I need some think that is quick and easy cause I work

You can make soft boiled eggs in a few minutes. Omelettes take very little time. Hard boiled eggs can be done the night before. A full fat Greek yogurt with 2 or 3 berries added takes less than a minute. Lots of people skip breakfast completely, or just have a coffee with double cream. You just have to think out of the box.

If you don't know the result of your last glucose tests (HbA1c) then you NEED to find out. This is important. You could also do with knowing any previous blood glucose tests. If you ring the receptionist she will most likely be able to tell you.

Roger that!

Gooey-centred hard boiled eggs. Prepare in the evening and keep in the refrigerator overnight. Dash of salt and pepper in the morning. Served on a bed of raw spinach with a splash of Tabasco. About the quickest and easiest breakfast imaginable. Packed full of essential nutrients. Won’t spike blood glucose. The silver bullet of the diabetes breakfast world :D
