I'm simultaneously ecstatic and heart broken. Ecstatic because I've found a dedicated keto restaurant, serving delicious food and keto bread that tastes like bread!
...and heartbroken because it's in Berlin and I am not. Although my choice of city breaks may be somewhat skewed now...
I had pizza, my partner had Thai curry soup and bread, I had a beautiful berry cheesecake with a crumble top and took home a bagel and homemade low carb 'milky whey' bar.
We'll be going back tomorrow to test the bulletproof coffee and the chocolate cake. It would be rude not to.
The freedom of going into a cafe and knowing I could have anything on the menu that I fancied, no replacements, no funny looks, with the carb content right there on the menu was amazing!
If anyone is in Berlin, make it a priority. It's only 3/4 stops out on the S-Bahn. You'd be mad not to.
