Does anyone have any first-hand experience of having a Smart Electric Meter in their home insofar as it affects Diabetes Tech such as CGM, pump, etc?

I am assuming and hopeful that a Smart Electric Meter would NOT interfere with diabetes tech, but nevertheless would appreciate people's first-hand reassurances (or otherwise) that their diabetes tech (CGM/pump/etc) has continued to work whilst living in a house with a Smart Electric Meter.

Thank you in advance!

Hi and welcome. I have used a CGM for a period, and have had one of those meters since they first came out. Neither interfered with the other so far as I'm aware.

A smart meter in itself shouldn't affect anything about the supply - should just monitor the usage and send the data to your supplier.

I use a cgm and have a smart meter, neither interferes with the other. Can’t comment on pumps though.
