So low carb?

I've just had a look for the latest prices and I can't seem to even find one for sale now:(

Full bloods,
Urea, electrolytes, liver function, cholesterol, thyroid, Hba1c,
every six months.
3 page print out for my records.

Repeats of any when I request them, usually Hba1c.

Meter and strips on prescription.

Well worth chatting to the doctor occasionally.

Bayer’s Diabetes Care business has made the decision to discontinue the sale of its A1CNow+® Multi-test A1C System and A1CNow® SELFCHECK At-Home A1C System.

So LCHF pretty much bans all carbs do you all do 0 carb ?

No luckily as that would be really hard lol-I do 30 grams or so a day but that's only to keep a second insulin regime at bay-others do really well on more than that-there's no magic amount one size fits all but for weight loss as well I reckon 60 grams a day would be a good starting point and see how you get on-you can always increase or decrease either way according to your scales and BG readings.:)

Perhaps the price scared most people off so they dropped it like a hot potato

I've been silly today and binged on chocolate and toffee and crisps just tested I'm 10.9 ;(

When you start low carb, the 1st 2 weeks are key. I have to be really strong willed and have lots of allowed snacks as I get really bad carb cravings. Its worth sticking with it. I used to wear size 26-28 now 18 months on, im a 20 or 22.

My aim now is to be looking for size 18 summer clothes this year.

It is really as now I know how im starting my day tomorrow and how I need to go on LCHF

I also find a soppy lap cat helps. Right now he is very happy sprawled on me which is stopping me distrubing him and going to the kitchen for a nibble.
