Good on you ! I think I will sign up for gym again as I really fancy the aqua aerobics .Maybe I will start 1st October as it's full of tourists in the summer months and the pool is too busy.

I love aqua aerobics, almost more than I love swimming. I am trying to build up to my pre-surgery levels of 5 x 1hour sessions a week, but I don't know if it is surgery, old age, or apathy that is getting in the way. I can move in water so much easier than I can on land. I don't get sport injuries in water either.

40 minutes walk at lunchtime . Its a lovely day here. Might be lazy tonight :)

A bit of walking around Kielder today, but not really getting enough exercise at the moment - watching the cycling on ITV4 doesn't count. And my right foot hurts (seems to do so every week or so). Hope it's recovered for Beamish tomorrow.

....40 minutes walk too today, getting a bit like autumn here but its a good season and we've had some great weather this summer...

Lovely walk in the sunshine at lunchtime . It's gorgeous here.

Beautiful day today, spent several hours walking around Beamish museum.

Done quite a bit of walking today and couldn't work out why my leg ached more than usual then I remembered the consultant told me I can stop the tablets and injections in belly now as it has been 4 weeks since op. I took a pain killer this afternoon and felt better so maybe need to keep on them for a bit longer ! Getting hubby to get exercise bike out of garage this weekend so I can try and see how it goes but I remember when I last used it it's painful on the bum !

So just try but don't do much at first connie, be careful!

So yesterday only ma aged 15 minus on bike as had to meet up with a friend.
Today 30 minutes on bike, housework and claiming additional time for having to empty freezer that had come open again( needed defrosting ) - would,be day electric was off and 22 degrees in shade. So I've made soup tonight with veg to freeze and cooked two joints to freeze. Loads went in bin so so much for a cheap eat out if freezer myth. Argh.

Bummer! I hate to waste food, but you did a good rescue job on some of it. Hope you have a better day tomorrow.

Ooh, @connie104 take it easy. I always find it best to stay ahead of the pain by taking pain med at regular intervals rather than waiting until the pain is really bad... Are you sure you are ready for the bike? Not that I would want to put you off exercise, but it is still early days.

Thanks. Beef cooked and a piece of lamb so beef can be dinner tomorrow and lamb will pop in freezer to be made into shepherds' pie at some point.managed to salvage stuff at back as it was still frozen. Own fault for putting off defrosting it but it's a job I hate.

I am on a bit of a roll at the moment. In the pool 50 minutes. Swam without stopping for 45 of them, then did some fast running through deep water for 5 mins. That gets the heart rate up.

Also did a supermarket stomp for 15 mins straight after pool workout. Bought a pedometer. Now I just need to work out how to use it.

Yup, me too. Best investment is a frost free freezer, but I am guessing you have a giant size freezer so not sure if they come in frost free models.

You are doing fine without Pedro.
Seems we are both doing well this week, eh zand. Hurrah for us, long may it continue.

I have a frost free upright but this was the old freezer which is still an upright but ancient. We used to have my MIL's old chest freezer which could have held supplies for a small African state but it was too deep for me to reach in( only 5ft 3) so it went. Going to Asda in morning so will restick with bread and buns and frozen veg so it isn't running empty.
