Hi, only my second post on here. In the last year my A1c level have been flitting in and out of pre diabetic range. My last test was 42 so I’m trying to bring that down before my next test in mid June. I’ve switched my diet to low carb by cutting out bread, potatoes etc following recommendations on from some lovely people on here. I’m now thinking of putting in an order with the SRSLY online store to vary my diet a little. Also to get some snack bars for when we’re out walking.

I have a couple of questions first if I may.

1, How long do they generally take to deliver an order.
2, When you go on the site it says you can build a bundle. Is this the best way of ordering a few things from them? I can’t find any explanations about a bundle.
3, Has anyone got recommendations for anything they particularly like from the store. They seem to have a large range so I’m feeling a bit spoiled for choice!

I’ve been low carb for a month or so and have so far lost about 5lb. I’m not really over weight but I do have more around my middle than I should have. I feel I need to do something more to target the fat there but not sure what. My partner has a rowing machine so over the last two weeks I’ve been doing 10 minutes daily on it so that might help.

Hi and welcome to the forums. I like the SRSLY products but I do find the website style more than a bit irritating, and hard to follow. I think what they mean by a "bundle" is just a regular repeat order of more than one item.

I order 3x low carb rolls and 1x "not cross buns" every month - another T2 friend who lives nearby does the same and we put one order in to reduce postage/delivery costs. As I have a repeat order it turns up every four weeks - there was an issue around Christmas where they held back orders that should have been received in late December - I didn't get that order until the second week in January. Otherwise it's been dependable.

I've tried one of the "porridges" they do - not for me - and tried couple of other items a few years ago as well, but can't recall which. Quality has generally been OK and the rolls keep for a long time if refrigerated.

I've only ordered a handful of times think @maglil55 orders regularly from them. I don't do a bundle or subscription I just buy my favourite things in enough bulk to get the free next day delivery.which makes it easier to make sure I'm around for delivery I then split the rolls and bread into portions and freeze for use over next fewmonths. I buy the fruit loaf and the large rolls mainly but also tried and liked theseeded uncut loaf which I cut into slices prior to freezing.

Thanks for the reply. Good to know things freeze well as that’s what I’m wanting to do.

Yes, I think I’ll just order from time to time. I like a slice or of fruit loaf good to know theirs is nice.

Dont know about freezing. I do have one bag of rolls in the freezer but have no idea what they'll be like when thawed.
I freeze for up to two months and also toast slices from frozen works really well secret is splitting into portions before freezing
Edit 're any of loaves I cut small pieces of kitchen towel to size of a slice then take loaf out of its bag interleave the slices with kitchen towel and then put back in bags I can the just take one slice out at a time to toast. I'm sure greaseproof paper would also work.

I checked the site, thought this is interesting, and clicked on the link to get money off my first order.
Instead of their discount code, I just got an email welcoming me.

If you wait they do have regular discounts they email though often only for a few hours or days. You could email them and tell them you've not had discount promised to You and they should send. They are a bit slow to respond as not there weekends and bank hols but they do respond and should be able to help I hope.

Thank you so much for the tip. I'll give that a go.

Same. I gave them my email and they've sent me 20% off my first order.

Just had my first order delivered and so far have tried the loaf and the fruit loaf and both are pretty good. I've also got some of the wraps (which unlike others I've had are actually full size) and the large rolls - I'm looking forward to the latter when I start using the BBQ again.

I’ve tried their bread and the wraps. Both were good. Tho I’ve only had the bread toasted not as a sandwich. I haven’t tried the fruit bread yet but will do soon. I also brought some pizzas bases. Hopefully they’ll be nice too.
