I think your right about the BMI thing, I have noticed that the fat I have left is quite flabby now and I will need to work on toning and building some muscle back (not as much as the rugby players though), went on a bike ride tonight and tomorrow going to the gym so hopefully I will be able to build up my stamina.
I must admit that apart from the first week I have had loads of energy and have even slept so much more soundly as the weight has come off, it was a nightmare for my wife as I was a terrible snorer and she says that has stopped as well, so it has lots of other positive side effects apart from the weight loss and lower sugars.

That's how I feel. I;m beginning to feel like it's the end of a marathon. If it wasnt for the diabetes I would have packed it in by now, I feel too thin (10st 10lb) but I still have fat where it shouldn't be. I've got a meeting with the diabetic nurse on 16th May and the glucose test on 22nd May (my end date is 16 may but I may extend to 21 May just in case it helps). I too know it's not a cure, but I hope it is, and really if nothing else I feel better (if I wasn't so tired).it feels so near to the end I am thinking just a little bit of ANYTHING wont do that much harm,
