Step into Spring

@Pipp I had a great walk this week. Wells-next-the-sea towards Holkham along a muddy stony track, then the long way back along the beach. I reckon walking on sand should count double! Where can I get a pedo-thing from?
Too right about the sand. Hilly sand dune should count at least treble. I had to stop twice to 'admire the view'. Thought my lungs would burst with the effort. My theory is that the fitness tracker I wear did not register the steps due to change of gait. I was sort of sinking.

As for pedometers, you can usually get them online, some health promotions even give them away free. I am currently using a wrist watch style that was a gift. Measures sreps calories used and can be synchronised with the My Fitness Pal app. Not sure yet if it is a blessing or curse.

Mightily impressed with the numbers of members who have joined @Jamrox 's latest initiative.

Ok, heard you the first time. ;)
Is your knee still sore?

Not as sore as it was Pipp but aching tonight . I guess it's going to be if I rest it or not .

I really don't like these ads in the threads .

?? Ads?
Do you mean my mention of MFP?
No, for some reason the last post on each page is an ad (I mostly use the App) various companies - visit Cornwall, visit Wales, Citroen cars, credit checks, never ending. Hope they can stop it

Yeah Chris Lowe , it's annoying . I suppose DCUK get revenue from it though .

Hi All
Well in the topsy turvy world that is the Southern Hemisphere while you are stepping into spring I am easing into to Autumn. In Canberra it is almost magical with all our wonderful tree lined streets turning and dropping their leaves and the air is pristine and the sky a spectacular blue. Still a few weeks away but definitely a time to park the treadmill and get out there.

Ah, thanks @chris lowe and @Jamrox. I haven't seen any. Thought I was to blame. Born guilty.

If I have problems with the site I usually PM giverny.
Would be annoyed if adverts kept appearing.

Had a lovely day in Stirling .
Wandered around the Castle for a couple of hours .
We then looked around the town and then went to Bannock Burn . Don't know how far I walked but I was on my feet for about 5 hours .
Glad to be back .

Just parked the treadmill - 30 minutes
Heading into the city shortly with She who must be obeyed to buy some clothes. I should blame you lot as because of the weight-loss the only thing I have left that fits me are socks and footwear. And yes.... I hate clothes shopping

Easing Into Autumn

16,734 steps ... a new high!! Walked to the railway station from home this morning instead of getting the bus (2.5 miles) and set me up for the rest of the day!
