Step into Spring

@mo53 we are also moving and have spent the last month packing ready for the move on the 16th January . We are moving to a friends villa whilst we find a house to buy back in the UK so will have to do it all again in March /April time. Decided to have a day off today and hit the sales ( they start on 7th January in Spain as hubby needed a suit for a wedding so I walked round the shopping center which is enormous twice and then round the car park looking for the car !! So I certainly did my 30 mins today .

I took a break from clutter clearing and pottered around the garden as it was sunny. Shifted a couple of pots, and made plans for planting and tidying. Anticipating brighter days and figure if I get spring cleaning and decluttering out of the way before spring I will be able to enjoy outdoors when weather improves.

This could take some time though as there is stuff from several deceased relatives to sort as well as our own stuff.

My own de-cluttering will take years :eek:
Mine too, but I have made a start, and will do a bit each day. Going to be ruthless the exercise is good, physically and mentally.

26 minutes peddling- an odd number ( well even actually ) but that's when the song stopped. Did 3 minutes sit ups ( ouch), stripped junior's bed ( have it to remake tomorrow ) and did about 15 minutes walking.

I'm concentrating on getting downstairs up and running like a real home! lol. That will be a start!

I haven't managed very much activity at all today. I'm ashamed to say I only ironed 4 shirts. I still don't feel too great though and if it wasn't for this thread I wouldn't have done that much.

10 mins swimming, 50 mins aquafit, 35 mins around shops. I am not eating very much, yet I am the one getting provisions. Easier when accompanied, but cheaper if I go alone. I chose to go alone, as we are skint.

If you were still in Scotland all the clutter would be away in the wind . Lifted to some where else lol

Went to work in the dark , sat at a desk all day ... Yawn busy day ... Came home in the dark in really bad rain and wind .. Be busy doing housework tonight ... Yawn

I fear I am becoming a bit boring, but after my water exercise And shopping trip, I continued the declutter. A very small space where some of it used to be. Much yet to do.

Next week will try to do different exercise.

Wow there is such a lot of de cluttering and packing going on. Well done @zand for doing the shirts when you still weren't feeling a 100%! I did 15 minutes rapid walking and then fetching and carrying. I tried to lift Lino in the kitchen only to discover that the kitchen had been fitted on top of the lino! Harrumph! Lol

Having a skive day- well did 10 mins peddling this morning but spent early evening in a and e on ecg machine- so much for CBT helping my anxiety. Dose of valium and sent home with instructions to see GP and sort my anxiety out- like I haven't been trying for 28 years.

Lol lol lol lol it was the new place I was trying to get rid of old Lino from lol but it is not giving up easily

Sorry, couldn't resist teasing you. You are so good natured I knew I would get away with it.

Oh dear @cold ethyl , that sounds as though you have had a tough day and a&e weren't helpful at all. I hope you are feeling a bit better:)

They were very nice really.. Just stating the obvious. And sometimes you just want someone to wave a magic wand and make it all go away. I'm intolerant to betablockers which would be the ideal first line treatment so stuck with CBT as I am not keen on antidepressants. Going to get my Hba1c done in next few weeks then tackle GP about everything going on as my anxiety has got worse partially due to a lot of weird symptoms I get on the Metformin that seem to be being ignored.

Hello fellow 'steppers' I've had another energetic diy day. Apart from my usual activity I have been removing underlay that had been down so long it had turned to green powder! Yuk! So it was sweeping the room with a hand brush and then hoovering. Guess who was green after the room wasn't? Lol x
