Step up for Santa

Walked around Glasgow in the rain before heading to Edinburgh for the rugby . Hope the rain gets lost

Walked from Haymarket to Murray field up loads of stairs to our seats then back again. Had a lovely day once I got the stuff I had to do out of the way. Had a lovely dinner in Glasgow afterward ,scallops yummy

couple days off as friends here yesterday and three am bedtimes not best thing for me. Though did do about 20 mins brisk walking last night to gig and stood for 2 hrs.

I've been remiss since the beginning of term in September and only managed about twice a week!! Walks that is. I bought a stepper but it bores me so I've tapered off. I've still got numbness in my knee, 2 months after my fall and landing on it heavily. Antibiotics taken for ensuing cellulitis. Anyway the doctor said it could take 4 months for nerves to repair. He said the sensation of water trickling down my leg is a sign that the nerves are repairing. It doesn't give me pain but the rest I gave it whilst I had the cellulitis means I got out of the exercising rhythm.
I must say though that I'm quite energetic during the day because my class of 5-6 year olds keep me active!!
Thanks for these exercise threads Jamrox. Much appreciated.

I did 15 minutes walk yesterday. Today I've done 20 minutes, on top of looking after my two grandchildren and walking around the shopping centre.

10 minute walk the 35 minutes on numb bum x

You are welcome peace train . Hope you feel better soon. I couldn't do it without you all .

My exercise bike is a god send.

45 minutes walk at lunch time . BS at 5pm 4.7 mmoll

Been on my country one hour walks ..and the city walks ...one or the other ....not both in the same day ..that would be to much :)
Have seen some weight loss progress .....@Andrewcolvin said I would ...amazed ....

so fr 16 minutes on bike and 5 on the bs cruncher. My back doesn't like it much. there'll be more peddling later as tonight there's a few chips with dinner - rewards have to have paybacks in the world of diabetes.

It's certainly a balancing act

Did a 20 minute walk at lunch time, then 15 minutes Rosemary Conley salsa in the kitchen when I got home from work as it was raining.
