Still making mistakes I think.

Hi @fendertele , and @HSSS thank you for the tag.

Here’s some info on UK meters, and to be clear I have no commercial connections with any of the companies mentioned.

Home Health have recently bought out the Gluco Navii, but I haven’t heard any reviews yet, links to strips and the meter:

https://homehealth-uk.com/all-produ...ose-meter-test-strips-choose-mmol-l-or-mg-dl/

There are also discount codes for when you come to buy more strips - "navii5" and "navii10" will give you 20% off purchases of 5 packs of strips and 25% off 10 packs of strips respectively.

Disclaimer, I haven’t used the discount codes that I have quoted recently so I don’t know if they are still current.

Spirit Healthcare have a meter called the Tee2 + found here:

http://spirit-healthcare.co.uk/product/tee2-plus-blood-glucose-meter/

with the strips found here:

http://spirit-healthcare.co.uk/product/tee2-testing-strips/

Some members have got a free Tee2+ by phoning up to order, with a large order of strips they often throw the meter in for free:

With more expensive strips is their Caresens Dual which I currently use, this one has the advantage of glucose and ketone testing in one machine, it’s to be found here:

Don’t forget to check the box if you have pre diabetes or diabetes so you can buy VAT free. (for all meters and strips)

I think @Mbaker might be the person to answer this. (Apologies if I’m misremembering who).

I asked my butcher what was in the sausages other than meat and they talked about the fillers and offered gluten free, which turned out had rice instead of wheat. So sadly for me it’s back to the supermarket shelves.

I mean, even hellmans Mayo is 1.3G per 100g so to be fair it’s pretty low carb
Its low carb but made with rapeseed oil.
You may or may not want to load your body up with that..personally I avoid it.
In the US its called canola oil and is often considered not very good for you.

@fendertele it is more than possible, I would say desirable to lean bulk. Carbs are good for the "pump", but that is it. An electrolyte drink such as a teaspoon of lo - salt in water before a workout will fill the muscle out also, the science is simple carbs hold onto water, hence the fuller look.

Here's real people who are doing this:

Some other examples are on MeatRX.com

I am really old and making strength and muscle gains. I am sure I note in one of the above posts, but basically hit failure (real failure....no really real failure and this will force the muscle to grow). Obviously if you are using weights this is risky without a spotter, so you can achieve the same with bands or bodyweight - Ted Naimen does this and you only need to hit failure once in the session; I use the X3 Bar to do the same, after the previous lockdown, I went to the gym and deadlifted a further 20 kg whilst only doing X3 for several months.

Have you tried this company for sauces I use these a lot they do loads of different flavours sweet and savoury https://theskinnyfoodco.com/collections/zero-calorie-sauces
