I'm still smoke-free since early April sometime (though vaping occasionally). I seriously can't imagine smoking ever again. I'm not boasting, more trying to work out whether anything I did/thought could help others. I remember breaking any brand loyalty I might have had: we were recently back from Germany and had been stocking up since by quarterly visits to Belgium. The price, whilst much cheaper than GB, was still hefty when bought all at once, so I had gone on to those machines that stuff hollow cigarettes. I liked them fine, but had been smoking more and more as you don't get the cue of opening a new pack and I could have lit one from the butt of the last. Really, at the time I gave up, I was more worried that smoking wasn't quite 'enough'!!! God knows what I would have tried next in the way of self-destructive behaviour! That probably led me to Vapesticks, to keep my mouth busy between cigarettes and then they led me to accidentally giving up.
I'd be thrilled if anything I've said could help. I'm always reluctant to give opinions and advice on diabetes as I am still new and a bit rubbish at it, but, for all the negative things that have happened this year, this one I have been good at.
