2 hours postprandial I try to be around 7mmol or below, for most meals I bolus ahead of food to reduce the spikes.
btw @Topher, did you try the Super Bolus?
Not yet as I'm still trying to work out my exact basal rates during a the morning. I should have that squared away by the weekend, so will try the super bolus early next week, oh the joys, I'll let you know how I get on
Most definitely get the basal rates right above all else.
I'm having a bbq this weekend so I'm going to try a Square-Wave bolus for the first time and see how that goes, I think it's important to make the most of the bolus options on a pump as they can deal with most meals with a little trial & error.
Hi noble head, what is a square wave bolus, never heard of it before. I'm on the vibe, and it has combo bolus on it, so I can split bolus' over a given time etc
