suggested to rename type 2 diabetes to lipodiabetes

I would be concerned if I was catigorised as "Sparkly" (note the capital S.) that it could cause confusion with Cillit Bang disease..or the misunderstood Shake & Vac??

But Shake and Vac does bring the freshness back!

Sorry, I just wanted an excuse to play the advert! :)

The current differentiation between type 1 and type 2 diabetes makes them look similar in scope to the patient. And misguide him to thinking that type 2 is
only a blood glucose problem, downplaying the fact that it is a manifestation of an excessive fat origin.
Renaming it to Lipodiabetes brings the patient to a better understanding of his condition.

Dear All.
The "lipo" word made you all pull out your guns. However no offence was intended. In fact I never meant with my suggestion the fat outside, but was referring to the more dangerous type which is the visceral fat.
I know now for sure how eccentric my suggestion was.
