Staring at my lovely collection of recipe books, some belonging to my mother and grandmothers and most of which don't have carb counts, I was pessimistically thinking 'I can't use these again, I'll chuck them all out', including a glorious Madhur Jaffrey Ultimate Curry Book. I know I could adapt most recipes, but I have been using one low-carb book (Ultimate Keto Cookbook, Martina Slajerova) and am getting bored. I also know there are brilliant cooks on this Forum who invent/adapt recipes, but I was looking for suggestions for another low-carb/keto recipe book (I like books - somehow makes the recipe a little bit more special than a downloaded A4 sheet. To me anyway! I have loads from dietdoctor....).

Do you have a favourite book? This would also help when asked "what do you want for Christmas/your birthday?"

I have very few cookery books, but have amassed a very wide variety of recipes from before and after diagnosis. Years ago, I used to print our recipes then add them to a ring binder, but these days I use "CopyMeThat", which allows me to save all my recipes in one place that I can access from phone, tablet, laptop or whatever.

If I'm looking for something in particular, I have a few go-to sites by "known" LC writers, or interrogate Yummly.com, where I have saved all my requirements (LC, gluten free, and ingredients I don't care for) and take it from there, or even asking DrGoogle for what I want.

If you like Indian/Asian food, you could have a look at twosleevers.com. The lady owning that eats LC and does some gorgeous stuff. She is a fan of pressure cooking, but she does lots of other stuff too.

Many thanks, @Boo1979 and @DCUKMod - very helpful suggestions. twosleevers.com has some yummy stuff. (Must dig out ancient pressure cooker lurking in back of cupboard.) I can see an all-too-quick-click session on Amazon coming up!

The author uses an Instant Pot, which is a fabulous thing. I have one too, which I love, because it does so much more than pressure cook, it had a whole bundle of safety features built in and the keep warm facility is great. Not cheap, but fab.

Twosleevers has a Facebook presence for both Instant Pot recipes and her main Twosleevers presence. She is very proactive on there. The groups are closed groups, but my request to join was accepted almost immediately.
