I have comorbidities primarily CIRS if you dont know what that is dont worry. I have to take a bunch of supplements. Ive never been able to find a brand that lists sugars like they do in foodstuff labels.
Any ideas anyone?
Nb not overweight.

Secondly I am hearing of other types of diabetes other than 1,2 1.5 and gestational. My gp agrees he has read about them too but doesnt know where to look. I dont mean the Alzheimers is type 3 research. Again anyone got any links?

Hi @AussiePip and welcome to the forum. I’m guessing from your screen name you are in Australia. Here in the U.K. ingredients for supplements are listed on the packet, but not specific nutritional values such as protein, carbs, sugar etc
I just checked the ingredients for supplements I take and none list sugar (or it’s various guises, dextrose, glucose etc…)
From the ingredients you could pretty much tell if they contain sugars.
As for the different types of diabetes, these are the only other types I’ve heard of:

Hi @AussiePip and welcome to the forums. I can name a few more types

T3c - lack of insulin caused by damage to the pancreas
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Type_3c_diabetes

GD - gestational diabetes, seems unlikely to be relevant unless you are pregnant

Have you had any diagnostic tests such as cpeptide or GAD to see whether the T2 diagnosis is accurate?

Hope this helps
