Please could someone tell me if having hands that swell up, get really itchy & and tingle like pins and needles is diabetes related?

Your symptoms could probably be related to any number of different medical conditions. Personally, I'd advise seeing your doctor asap.

Definitely see a doctor and don't delay. I wont air my thoughts here, but if that was me and the surgery was closed, I'd already be in A & E awaiting some kind of diagnosis.

- Customer helplines that use recorded menus that promise to put me through to the right person but never do - and being ill. Oh, and did I mention customer helplines :)
I would agree with above advice..... See your doctor macone23, its probably nothing to worry about but always best to get these things looked at as soon as you can.
