T2 in remission and hypos

Hi. I'll try to be as concise as possible, but here after some medical gaslighting. I was diagnosed with T2 four years ago and put it in remission in 90 days with keto, IF, and exercise. It's remained in remission ever since, but if I'd been regular with HBA1c tests it probably wouldn't be the case. Long term realistic management has become difficult with PCOS and possible peri menopause lurking. I've been on and off the food/health wagon. My latest HBA1c put me just under pre-diabetic range. Due to all of my hormonal issues and insulin resistance I've been put on Metformin. It's really helped the PCOS and food cravings. Prior to going on Metformin I'd been having episodes of hypoglycaemia. This has been confirmed with a CGM. I'm very hungry when I'm low and when I eat is when I'm getting most of the hypos. It's seriously interring with life. I was mocked and medically gaslighted by another GP today who refused to refer me to the diabetic nurse. He said the CGM may be faulty and there's something different making me feel ill. I am going to be complaining about him. He seems to think if your HBA1c is 'normal' that you don't need to consult a diabetic nurse and it would be impossible for me to have hypos and be T2. I've suffered with bouts of hypos from being around 11 when my periods started so I've always put it down to PCOS insulin resistance. Has anyone ever gotten anywhere with this sort of predicament? The GP mocked that the diabetes team could do anything for me but has referred me to endocrinology which is going to take months at least. I think I have RH related to insulin resistance. Wondering if there's anyone else out there with some wisdom!
