Hi,

How often are you testing BGs during the day..? & when?

Hi. You can always reduce your insulin dose by setting a lower number on the pen? I'm surprised the nurses didn't help with that. Whilst injecting too much insulin can cause your blood sugar to go too low which is not good if too far, injecting too little just means your blood sugar may be a bit too high. Do call the NHS Diabetes helpline or the Diabetes UK helpline if your surgery can't help you.
