This one is pretty easy.
1. Cut a head of cauliflower into large chunks (quarters or thick slices).
2. Heat a mixture of oil (I use rapeseed) and butter in a pan.
3. Add cauliflower and brown all over.
4. Transfer to the oven, adding an extra knob of butter,
5. Roast for 30 minutes or so at 180C (until softened), basting every now and then.
I first had this cooked for me by a vegan friend (without the butter). They said that it was a good substitute for a steak. I can't say that I agreed but it is a delicious side dish.
Same for everyone, the liver gives us all a shot of sugar to help start the day.No matter what I eat the night before, my blood sugar is at its highest when I wake up.
