Tandem t slim bolus app

Is there any news when the bolus app for the t slim pump is being released in the UK. Have heard rumours it will be early next year but will believe that when it actually happens.

Don’t bother expecting it…. I was told ‘any time now’ when I was given the pump 4 years ago and it never arrived

It will arrive when it arrives - if ever

I think it’s more of an approval issue in the UK along with the likes of omnipod only being able to use a pdm and not a phone in the UK
 
It’s really unbelievable that the pump can’t bolus from a smartphone app I mean come on… so frustrating
 
I am curious about the app. At present I have the option to run my new g7 on my phone during the grace period of the old sensor running o my pump, thereby allowing me to delay starting the sensor on the pump till it has settled down. (It frequently reads quite low for the first few hours. And when I have a sensor that fails (eg earlier this week I had a new sensor that read lo from start up to 6 hours later when it finally told me it had failed) I don't have to use it on my pump at all.

Presumably the app won't allow this? Or can I still run the dexcom G7 app separately on my phone?
 
Hi Ellie, good question and I know you do the same as me when you start a new sensor. I would imagine that you can as the new app takes the readings from your pump, I get the g7 app still on my phone, so in theory we should still be able to start sensor on phone ( g7 app ) for first 12 hrs and then connect to the pump and new sensor readings will.thwn appear on new app, I hope that makes sense? I need to start a new sensor in 4 days so will be able to confirm then.
