We are happy to help but can you elaborate what information you require?
I assume it comes with instructions and, as you have type 1, you will be getting test strips on prescription so not sure what you want to know from the forum.

I use a Tee2 as my back up meter. I dont know if things have changed with the Tee2+, but the major potential downside Id see in the Tee2 for a type 1, is that it doesnt have the functionality to measure ketones
The same company (spirit healthcare) do another meter which does have dual functionality and is only a marginally more expensive unit (dont know strips cost) http://spirit-healthcare.co.uk/product/caresens-dual-blood-glucose-and-ketone-meter/

I have it as as back up to allow me to periodically do more testing than my test strip prescrption for my NHS supplied meter allow - the test strips are much cheaper so its more cost effective than buying extra for my other meter. The readings given from the two meters are pretty well identical.
Its a basic but accurate BG meter - it doesnt have the dual functionality to measure ketones as well as BG, but neither does my NHS one

I use the TEE2+ now. I was using the Accu Chek Mobile, then the TEE2. I think the TEE2 and the TEE2+ read a bit lower than the Accu Chek Mobile, but seem to be fairly consistent.
I use it because the strips are cheaper than the AC Mobile. It does have 'Bluetooth connectivity', unlike the TEE2, but I don't know how to do that bluetooth stuff.
