Hi
Has anybody ever travelled to Thailand on the insulin pump?
I'm thinking of going next year but worried about if anything were to go wrong with the pump and getting hold of insulin etc over there
Also when I went to New York last year and had to adjust the time difference on my pump I suffered with a lot of hypos
Thanks

Never been to Thailand but I know my body follows circadian rhythms and I would leave the time zone as is on my pump and watch to see what happens before changing the time zone on my pump.

I fly a lot to Penang, similar distance, there's a 7 hour difference, I change my pump on take off and landing by 3 + 4 hrs.

You need to take as many spares as you need and plenty more than you'd use at home. Insulin is easily available at all main hospitals if its needed, you'd need to pay but its quite cheap.

I travelled to Thailand last year. I would recommend changing time over 3 days. I did it all within 1 day and it don't work for me, too sudden change over 24h
