Hi Everyone,

I've been diagnosed with type 1 for almost 10 years now and have always struggled with it.
Recently though I've been reaching out and posting more on this forum and I feel like for the first time since my diagnosis I am finally in control both physically and mentally.

I wanted to thank every one of you on here for being so supportive and willing to share your experience and knowledge with myself and others on here. It has really made the world of difference to my life and the way I view diabetes.

THANK YOU!!

Also...my sugars have been in range all day today for the first time I can remember *happy dance*

Hi @Tubzi . Well done that's brilliant news.
Control is probably the most important factor in living with diabetes.
I would suggest that you now learn to embrace your diabetes, make it your best friend.
Try to DO THINGS BECAUSE YOU'RE DIABETIC and never, don't do things because you're diabetic.
You are definitely today's top banana. Congratulations.:):):)

I am also doing a happy dance for you too (my speciality !) wonderful to hear some positive news, sometimes all it takes is to get a new perspective on things and being able to talk to others helps with that :)
