Ive tried to reply without success - think I need a tutorial for this forum lol. I get a message when I try to reply suggesting ive put "inappropriate content" I think it was. Cant think what that would be but just to say I really appreciated your replies which were very helpful. Hopefully I'll get used to the forum which appears excellent, so glad I found it. All best.
ps, not even sure that creating a thread is the way to go so apologies if wrong.

Hello @CollaredDove As a new member you will have restrictions on your account until you've posted at least 5 times (I think !), it's to try and deter spammers, if you try again after your next post you should be ok, if not let me know :)

If you are trying to reply to someone then click the "reply" box below their text (as I have done with yours) which then copies their post into your reply..

Alternatively if you type the user name preceded by the @ sign then they will also receive a notification of your response.
@CollaredDove

I wonder if you will get one or two notifications..

Hope that helps and welcome

Thank you, and glad to help. :) You'll get the hang of it, both the diabetes and the forum. ;)

You might find these short (less than 5 minutes each) videos helpful.

Edited to add the link. Apologies!

I feel so flattered ... I don't think I have ever had a thread started anywhere with my name in it before! :)

And that's the power of this forum.

we all give freely of ourselves
never knowing how much it is helping that one person in dire need,
just so great to get the reward of knowing we helped someone just like us.

Well deserved @SaskiaKC
so much of what we give, we think makes no odds, yet
i'm sure we'd be amazed at how much difference each of us makes to someone
on here.

Long may it continue..

ooh just spotted i've made 2K messages..whoop whoop.:D

@jjraak Whoop whoop indeed!
