The Dreaded Cholesterol....

Hi. Yes, just keep going with the LCHF diet and the figures should improve. BTW fasting should be between 10 and 14 hours.
Perhaps we are at cross purposes here, but I thought that a lipid blood test only requires an 8hr fast.
While a fast to kick the metabolism into Ketosis mode may need to be as much as 16hrs. So I am wondering where you get the 10 to 14hrs fast from and what is meant to be its purpose?

My doctor told me to fast for 16 hours.
