I've been type 1 since last October. Can I just ask does the heat lower your sugars.

You are not alone I have exactly the same problem. I can’t wait for it to cool down which seems such a shame but I am having such a hard time with my BG and covered in bruises from extra injectionsI've found trying to maintain stable BGL's during this hot weather a bit of a struggle. Some days I've found my insulin sensitivity spike, especially when I've been out and about, but with it being so warm during the nights I've found it difficult to get a decent night sleep, making me pretty resistant at times and a struggle to bring higher BGL's down. Whilst I don't mind the sun I would rather the heatwave passed soon, it would be nice to have a comfortable nights sleep again!
