Love the Bacon and Eggs, actually had a fry up for dinner yesterday
No rules, when the rules are wrong... ;)

Missus was shocked how much I ate while low carbing.

I used to eat a Big ol' breakfast..and I still lost 3 stone over 4 months.
(Was at one meal a day or at most 2, & no longer snacking )

And I'll have that breakfast now for an evening meal occasionally.

No set rules from pre DX about when to eat & what to eat.

It sounds a bit hippy dippy, but the truth is we should listen to our bodies

Just be careful, it can get expensive.

I needed a whole new wardrobe of clothes by 6 months in

Grumpy bosses!
All I can further say is, if the itching hasn't disappeared when your BG levels have improved, ask your doctor to refer you to a dermatologist. GP's are after all only a General practitioner, not a specialist in skin conditions.

Just a slight update. Decided to start taking a Metformin at night time as well as the day time now, not sure if I was meant to but my box does say take one in the morning then increase as advised, so I'm guessing it was at my own discretion providing I could tolerate it without the side effects. MMOL is measuring in the 5's all day at the moment.

Still the itching is persisting at this point though. No signs of it going away. Making me so angry that it can decide to calm down on any random day and then just persist in being annoying the next. I can't get my head around it.
