That one scores a full five smiles, Anna!Just back from taking our Autistic son out to lunch. He loves KFC and just watching him taking each piece of chicken out, studying it, smelling it, then finally eating it with huge relish, made me happy. It is so easy to forget the pleasure that food can bring and just because I can't eat KFC doesn't mean that I can't enjoy watching my lovely son relish his lunch. Small things make him happy
Awww..... that one scores a full five smiles, too, Robs (and produced a lump in my throat!)From my son today,
There's only one lady who deserves a bunch of flowers from me tomorrow...
My mum!
And a second voicemail message from my grandson thanking me for his birthday money, one day I will be able to see him again, one day................
What an honour to be asked! She's the most precious thing in her mum and dad's lives and you are the ones they want to keep her safe - that's very special! And you are going to SO enjoy having her all to yourselves. That just has to have a five smiles award...We (R &I) were the First ones asked yesterday if we would 'Babysit' for Florence at the weekend whilst her Mum & Dad go out for the first time in over 3 months - since Florence was born. We are really looking forward to looking after her for the evening.
