The SCREAM thread

Aaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrggggggggghhhhhhhhh

I'm serious considering leaving this site

Aawww Paula, sorry to hear you feeling so arrgggghhhhh today. When a scream involves' the site', it's difficult to know what to write or who to write about, if you get my drift, so sending a 106978767-Big-Hugs-Animated-.gif your way.

I was so fed up yesterday I could not even face posting.
On Thursday I went to my GP's surgery to ask for some repeats. As I was dealing with the receptionist I get on best with I asked if there were any free appts to see my Dr or was it the usual 6-8 week wait? She slipped me in on yesterday at 4.10. his meant I had to get the train from the station at 3.20. The next train is at 4.20. This also meant I would have to book 2 taxis, 1 to school and one back. I went on line and booked both taxis. I got off the train to see my taxi waiting for me.:) A very pleasant Romanian. £7.50, so I gave him £1 tip.
I booked the return taxi for 2.55. That should give me plenty of time. I sat out in front of the school. 3, 3.05 then 3.10 came and went I tried phoning the taxi firm and was told via computer that the taxi was on its way. Finally I heard a voice calling me, the taxi driver was parked around the back of the school and I was at the front. He'd been there nearly 20 mins. He was not happy, well nor was I! The time we left school was the time the train was leaving. I explained to him that every other taxi driver from the co. had picked me up ok before and all he kept saying well that is where my sat nav sent me! He asked the various coach drivers (who know nothing!! as they are nothing to do with the school) what he should do and they said to stay where he was - doh!
He wanted to drop me off at the station and didn't believe me when I told him there was 1 train an hour. He then agreed to drop me off at the next station but I only had £10 and it cost me £12. He said he'd take me to the next station and that I could pay him extra next time.
Well I got to my GP at 4.10 on the dot. When I said I have a problem with my shoulder she wanted to know why I didn't self-refer myself to the physio? All this hassle trying to get to her to be told to go on line to do it!:banghead:

It's bad enough being sight impaired it's just having to cope with people that annoy me.

Am confused as to the nature of your scream ... I see he's an American politician. What's "caved"? Don't do politics at all. Don't know most of English politicians....
But scream away, that's what the thread's for

I suppose it's the same as 'caved in' Jan, but don't know why it's a scream,

He's an old dude. That's the extent of my knowledge!

Edited for a thought - he might not be that old, but he looks like he's had a tough life!
For the US he's quite left-wing (think Jeremy Corbyn, as opposed to Tony Bliar). Hillary Clinton is not terribly popular with some Democrats and in UK terms, her politics are probably similar to somebody on the left of the Tory Party, so Bernie S represents the first opportunity, for many years, for US voters to go for somebody whose politics are left of centre. He is undeniably quite old - but then so is Hillary..... :)

Having said all of which, if I were a US voter I would undoubtedly vote for whoever the Democratic candidate might be because the alternative is President Trump; aieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

A very girlie scream..

When will this rain stop?! The humidity is making my hair BIG and there are only so many times I can straighten it before it just snaps off!
Me: wash hair, wrap in towel, remove towel and squeeze ends. Let dangle til dry. Scrag back into ponytail; alternative pull back like ponytail, twist and take to top of head, claw clip. Done
