This has NOTHING to do with Diabetes......

He did! Dedication to be admired, but not a good idea after a blow to the head.

He was like a punch drunk boxer, surprised he came round after that knock to the head.

Of course the other option is he wasn't as badly hurt as he made out???

here we go, here we go .... home

well what did we really expect after many years of mediocrity. I can see a future though

Still mediocrity, because apart from the brilliance of the ear biter Uruguay weren't very good.

Did you see the slow mo?

Yes I did, there was very obviously contact, he wasn't necessarily concussed though, he did break up the England pressure....

Not sure about that, he was doing some twitching on the ground.

I didn't see him twitching, I did see him talking to his team mates when they came over to him, eyes closed of course.

I could be wrong of course, but I don't see his manager, the club doctor, the ref or FIFA letting a player continue to play after being concussed, let alone him being well enough to do so.

I told you so!

Great post,

His right hand was twitching when he was knocked out, I too was surprised he was allowed back on given the seriousness of the blow to his head.

Did anyone else think the goal keeper of uruguay had been 'tangoed' ?
All decked out in bright orange!
It is all I kept thinking off whenever I saw him .

I have just turned on the been for the game and I have switched over to the tactical camera channel.
I will watch and report. But I think I like it!

Hubby/Me watched it in HD colour so was probably enhanced colour I must add here !
There was no chance of missing him in the goals .

Our UK goalie looked pale grass green compared to Mr Tango
