Did I see it wrong or did the the guy who seemed to get knocked out go back on the field.
Yes he did.

He did! Dedication to be admired, but not a good idea after a blow to the head.Did I see it wrong or did the the guy who seemed to get knocked out go back on the field.
Why did they let him do it?He did! Dedication to be admired, but not a good idea after a blow to the head.

I don't think he was going to be told what to do. He had taken a heck of a wallop to the jaw.Why did they let him do it?
Did you see the slow mo?Of course the other option is he wasn't as badly hurt as he made out???

I know nothing at all about football but that that didn't look like a slaughter.here we go, here we go .... home
well what did we really expect after many years of mediocrity. I can see a future though
Did you see the slow mo?
Not sure about that, he was doing some twitching on the ground.
I always wondered why most of my travelling companions would travel home from away matches in a drunken stupor. Then I realised I was following Rovers and I wished I wasn't sober myself! It started happening at home last season as well! Lol!
Just SSN and had interviews with England supporters and the first one said 'I hope we play a high tempo game and take the game to them!
Is it any wonder we don't do well and we let the media pick the team and Roney will play down the middle!
Great post,Dear The FA,
Please can our next manager be younger than 65, please can he/she have the ability and tactical nous to;
- drop the overpaid under achieving so called 'stars'
- have a plan to win a game that includes a plan b, plan c, plan d etc
- encourage passion
- encourage flair
- make the team keep their shape
- pick a young team and stick to that team through thick and thin (just like Germany 5 years ago)
- pick players that have pride in playing for their country
- take the players' names off the shirts
- stop paying the players to play for their country, give them win bonuses by all means
- teach the players how to pass the ball
- teach the team to keep possession
- teach the team how to apply pressure and remain able to defend
- teach the defence to defend
Until this happens, The FA, England will continue to be a laughing stock and will slip further and further away from the top of the international game.
You may be happy with this, I'm not.
Sincerely
A fan who will no longer pay good money to watch England until there are major changes
I didn't see him twitching, I did see him talking to his team mates when they came over to him, eyes closed of course.
I could be wrong of course, but I don't see his manager, the club doctor, the ref or FIFA letting a player continue to play after being concussed, let alone him being well enough to do so.
it was an accident though im sureHis right hand was twitching when he was knocked out, I too was surprised he was allowed back on given the seriousness of the blow to his head.
now that you mention it.Did anyone else think the goal keeper of uruguay had been 'tangoed' ?
All decked out in bright orange!
It is all I kept thinking off whenever I saw him .
