Hi Skelton!

Me too, recurrent bouts of thrush and the tight foreskin(Known as balantitis) was a major problem for me,basically some of the excess glucose in your blood bypasses the kidneys filteration system and ultimately as your down below is a warm moist place(unless you're a naturist),the mixture of sugar in your urine and warm conditions is a PERFECT breeding ground for bacteria and the yeast overgrowth that causes the symptoms you and I have experienced..The good news is when i managed to reduce my Blood glucose levels down below 9mmol consistently(they were between 21mmol and over 33mmols) the problem did resolve itself and I've been fine ever since. I don't know what your sugar levels are doing but if they are good and this is persisting then a trip to the Doc would be good.

I dunno about the tightness, but thrush can thrive in many dampish crevices if blood glucose is not tightly controlled. Now thinking about it, if the thrush is red and thriving, I reckon it could also make skin tighter no matter where its got a grip. Its a trip to the doc's for you mate before it becomes infected with summat worse than thrush.

I had it in the early stages some years back and fortunately the doc prescribed some anti microbial cream (or some such stuff) and it cleared up. Now I have far better control, I have not been revisited by the pesky affliction.
