Unlikely as there is at least a factor of 10 in the ketone level between.what you get on Lowcarb and DKA. Also A&E will first do a blood gas test, and if that comes back as normal it proves someone is not in DKA regardless of keystone and BG levels. (GP can't do the test, as the blood need to get to the machine within minutes of being taken.)
