Edit: I wonder if the OP contacted the British Consulate, as she was in trouble in foreign climes as you are supposed to as I first suggested.

I hope you're getting more sorted. If you have someone at home who has access to your home can you ask them to send spares? You can ask the hotel for most reliable international service where you are. You can also order in international supplies into a pharmacy. Take an interpreter to talk to a chemist and do it via your travel insurance which should cover this type of claim.

Good luck and try and enjoy the rest of the holiday.

Next time make sure you take double supplies split in 2 bags plus long acting and pens as back up.
