Hi everyone, my names Rachel, I am 37years old and became a diabetic 2 years ago after I has a massive heart attack. I am on 5 injections a day and 2 tablets twice a day yet they cannot control it and now I have noticed I'm losing feeling in my right foot so that's very worrying. Was wondering if anyone else has found it hard to control their diabetes and look forward to meeting new people to talk to

Hi Rachel and welcome to the forum. I hope you're seeing your doc over losing feeling in foot ? Pretty sure there are many here that are or have struggled with their control. Maybe we can help a little. Can you provide more info ? BG levels ? Diet etc ? Take care, Mo

Hi Rachel and welcome. I also advise you to see the doctor about your foot. These things shouldn't be ignored by diabetics.

As Mo says, let us know a bit about your levels and the type of food you eat so we can try to help.

As others have said can you let us know more including whether you are overweight and also whether you are carb-counting with the Rapid insulin.
