Like Kristin251 nuts and seeds .If you want something crunchy celery with cream cheese, cheese strings .
Go food shopping after a meal, that way you are less likely to buy the junk. If it's not in the cupboard it won't play on our mind .Good luck

Best not to snack if your trying to lose weight, however if your on a insulin regime that requires you to eat carby snacks between meals then fruit would be a healthy option or something like oat crackers.

Once you get your bs and insulin stable the need to snack is greatly reduced

It depends how many carbs you want. I agree with @noblehead 's oatcake suggestion. There are also some tasty crispbreads that you can top with a smear of hummus and some red pepper, for example. A satsuma is a good healthy snack too.

Snacks can help curb hunger while adding a nutritious energy boost to your day. But that means choosing foods wisely.

Foods like whole grains, fruits or vegetables! These are healthier than salty snacks and sweets. There are few snacks with less than 5 grams of carbohydrate like having 15 almonds, 3 celery sticks with 1TS of peanut butter, baby carrots, cherry tomatoes with 1TS ranch dressing, a hard boiled egg, cucumber slices with 1TS ranch dressing, blueberries etc.
There are so many healthy snacks for type 1 but I suggest to consult with nutritionist and diabetic specialist.
