Hello friends, morning btw
I’m going to cry, my pump was beeping at me saying “gf you are high” and so I gave it a juicy bolus. Hour later it was still screaming so I double checked (it’s site change day). The cannula was leaking so I wasn’t getting anything at all. 0.7 ketones and still going up
 
I don’t know if I should tell work I feel poopoo. (I don’t know if the night team leader will let my manager know in the morning) I feel like I’ve been kicked in the stomach in the desert.
 
Site change, manual correction with a pen, I drank small sips of water because I’m tired and I also called in sick. bf woke up and asked if I was okay. I’m ready for breakfast because I’m back in single digits. That completely ruined my TIR but it happens.

my stomach doesn't absorb very well due to stretchmarks .

No badge again. Just wondering if getting up to use the loo in the night makes the liver dump??
Yesterday went and saw the Young Rembrandt exhib in the Ashmolean ... brilliant and bought train tickets for St Pancreas International!! Turns out if you show the ticket seller the Eurostar ticket you get a discount on the one to London.
Bag packing today. Wash hands

7 this morning, fairly level overnight if just slightly out of range, back well in range now.

The annoying thing is my mobile has developed a dodgy charging port, dodgy in that it doesn't charge anymore.........

I had, managed to remove some 'pocket fluff' but still wasn't charging, took it in and they've managed to clear the rubbish out better than I could and I'm now back with a working phone.

Felt a bit better today, so have been out and about for the first time since last Thursday. Had to justify wanting to buy three packs of dextrose in the shop I buy three packs of dextrose every time I go. They're limiting tablet purchases to two in total of ANYTHING and thought they were medical. They have been edumacated.

In other news, I got 97% in my most recent exam, anatomy & physiology. Just hope the one question I got wrong wasn't one of the diabetes ones

Bloods steady as she goes, been 100% in my 4-7 range for the last 24 hours. I can't really take the credit, it's a 50:50 combo of Loop and the food I eat. 10/10 would recommend!
 
Rip me, I don’t know what’s happening. I’m sitting here with 1.3 ketones. I don’t think it’s my site because it’s been working, my hormones are seriously getting me into trouble and I don’t think I’m ill.
 
Hello friends,

I was 15.0 with 1.3 ketones, it eventually came down slowly to 9.2. What an eventful evening. I finally had some sleep where my pump isn’t screaming, I accept 10.1 compared to yesterday’s fiasco.

I got a bit of dementia training at the care home today and observing how other work colleagues handle machinery etc. The care home is split into different levels/severity of dementia.
