Morning all, or should I say bonjour. Slightly worried about going to Paris but I suppose there's no more risk than going to London.
Madam blood is misbehaving, 4.6 going to bed and double badges on waking!
Wash you hands, I do but why if the virus is air borne?

The virus can live on objects for a certain amount of time. So washing your hands is a big plus. But remembering not to touch your face, eyes, nose, mouth is the biggest thing, as then you can't transfer it easily to yourself if you touch something that it is on.
Otherwise it can be airborne.

Morning all, now sat on a 5.9 but woke this morning on 12.8 - beer and pasta :angelic: (last night, not for breakfast this morning! :p)

Enjoy Paris Sue.

Good(?) morning all. Well that was an eventful night! Pump was blocking a lot after trying to blouse for food last night and woke to a 16 this morning.....set changed pretty quickly. No keystones (or ketones)

@SueJB have an amazeballs time in Paris

Afternoon, sitting here, just had lunch and looking out onto my back garden, then the cat next door, makes an appearance and wants to come in, but it's a no. Ziggy is a nice young cat, who is always running into my house and our Pebbles is 11 years old in the summer, is not amused :cat: Bless
Happy Wednesday :)

Sue, as I understand it, COVID-19 is a lipid coated virus, meaning it has a fatty outer coating. On that basis the washing with soap and hot water makes some sense.

Eventful day, the elderly were lovely today. Unfortunately care home is on lock down and they said no visitors. So the elderly have to skype their loved ones now.

Morning all, still struggling with these long slow rises in bg; have changed Lantus, now trying change of site. No news here apart from the fact that for the second week running my toad patrol was cancelled last night due to no activity, probably because it was so dry here. There are however lots of toads in the pond, very busy making new toads and there's a lot of toad and frog spawn. Very satisfying to know that the patrols are helping towards that! I wonder if toads can get diabetes?

I've a feeling they'd struggle with the Libre applicator if they can tbh :p and as they're a little slimy so you'd need some good duct tape to keep it on for the fortnight, they'd also struggle with a blucon or miaomiao on top as they won't have many usb charge points.

They'd be ok with the instructions tho once they'd read it.o_O

I know what my MIL is like with technology and she certainly wouldn't like to be called elderly so I can only imagine what a home full of 'elderly' and ipads must be like! :D Good luck!

Slight correction going to bed and when that had done it's magic then spent the whole night skirting along the lower end/edge of normal range.

Sigh, I’m exhausted. I got a phone call to say I’m supposed to be in. My manager wrote Monday to wednesday this week on a sheet of paper so I assumed this weekend gives me time to rejuvenate. (it’s my fault for not checking the rota yesterday)

I've Facetimed my 87 year old mum a few times, she lives with my sister, so mum has access to her iPad or phone.

Lol, she thinks I'm on the telly?! :p

I'm thinking of "theming" my calls in future.? Maybe dress up like Downton Abby?

Or do you think a frock is too much...
