And what is wrong with the word color????????
Theres 2 ways to spell it

Americans spell it as Color which a wide range of people think its the lazy way to spell it when infact the right way to spell it is "Colour"

But then i might just be as wrong, there might not be a right way at all

There’s American English, British English and other dialects of English. My auntie from China was taught American English and American pronunciation. So there isn’t a right or wrong way to spell it, like generalization or generalisation.

Generalization all the way Lol!!!!!!!
And let's not even get chips not being potato chips,
potato chips are crisps and fries are chips
And biscuits being cookies, what is a real biscuit then, I guess a scone?
But a scone here is nothing like a biscuit

:banghead::banghead::banghead:

And a digestive being a cookie, what a great name for a cookie and a great excuse to eat a cookie as a digestive over here would solely be something to help with your digestion.

:happy::happy::happy:

I just recently learned pancakes are crepes over there!!!!!!!
I guess you don't have real pancakes????? You are missing out!!!!!!

A scone isn’t a biscuit Cookies for us are chocolate chip cookies and biscuits are like digestives, rich teas, custard creams, jammie dodgers. A scone is what we have with afternoon tea with jam and clotted cream. We have pancakes and crepes but we have pancakes that aren’t as fluffy, quite crepe like. Japanese pancakes are thiccc

love love love this thread! just brilliant :woot:

4.8 this morning after another bed time correction - at least I know why I needed a correction, had a stew last night and didn't have many carbs or that was the plan, plus I was lazy and pen ran out by 1u of juice 'oh I'll do that later' - then decided to have a slice of bread to mop up what was left of the stew and then promptly forgot about the missing 1u plus any addition for the bread.....one day i might get my sh.. together :eek:

Moaning all.

Hi @kev-w you just had me rolling on the floor with your toad comment :hilarious::hilarious:

Well bloods are better today woke to a 6 and its been steady ever since.....BUT the day is still young

I've always wanted to lick one of those sugar free hallucinogenic tropical rainforest toads as far as it goes :singing: and I've got a cold, with a cough and a headache, but working outdoors it's usual for this to happen at this time of year, quaint that the current libre isn't particularly accurate.

But at least it's Friday :):):)
