Lets see you made a TV Remote sandwhich then after making that you took an empty bag to work?
No no I won' say a thing
Hard luck there @porl69 tho I guess we've all done something similar
Don't let the missus know as you may get the sarnies for tea
I used to carry a 2p in my pocket in case I needed to make a phone call.
But that just dates me now.
Glad the dog carrying has less drastic consequences today. I do think the Libre is great for showing patterns and changes in them; all I want it to do now is tell me exactly what causes themGood morning everyone, not much to report today, no nasty hypos after carrying the dog upstairs, though blood sugar did drop a bit, but then it decided to rise again.
My blood sugar was beautifully stable in July, and now it's gone a bit more erratic. I wonder if it is the mugwort? It's interesting how the Freestyle Libre reveals changes, thinking back this may have happened in August before, but I think I just assumed it was some sort of failing on my part, rather than the mugwort pollen in the air.
Empowering little thing, isn't it.
And, on that topic. can anyone explain why I feel the pull towards any ripe looking blackberries even when I know they are as tart as a lady of the night?
Same here, if I see a ripe blackberry, come to think of it ANY fruit that's ripe, I do tend to go pick it and eat itAnd, on that topic. can anyone explain why I feel the pull towards any ripe looking blackberries even when I know they are as tart as a lady of the night?
morning all, BGs have been a bit above range recently - I'm still suffering sciatic pain, thankfully not as bad as it was but it's so **** draining being constantly in pain or discomfort in this heat. I'm constantly clock watching to work out when I can take the next kind of pain killers so the D management is sort of on auto pilot.
Have a good day all.
Had sciatica for 18 months. I sympathise. Had tons of physio etc. Before I went down an injection route the physio suggested Pilates for bad backs which took place at the hospital. Never looked back. Might be a route to go.
My son has recently been diagnosed with Sciatica, amongst his many other medical conditions, but not diabetes
Hello, I don't post here much but just want to vent a bit. I didn't think I'd live to see the effects of global warming, we talk about coasts going under water but actually this hotter summers even by a few degrees have such a change on me.
Hopefully my attachment works, last week it was much cooler from Tuesday to Friday - around 21 to 23c. Saturday kicks in and we're back to 26c and you can see how it pushes my insulin resistance up. Keep tweaking the basal but not to much effect. Even went for a jog on Friday and that didn't seem to make a difference.
I'm welcoming the cooler weather again.
For reference, top line is readings, purple is carbs, pink is bolus and brown basal.
