Ooh Kraftwerk....I like them, good choice, will have a look on my iPod to see if I have them on it.@Mel dCP Oh! that cake looks fab, can you PM me the recipe please?
Evening all.
Fine day nearly in the green band on the Etch A Sketch all day
Sat here listening to Kraftwerk while designing Wedding stationery for our up and coming wedding, nearly all done just need to print out the Table plan ones on the paper going to use, to see what its like but will wait till the weekend for that.

The heat is having the same effect on me. I’m so resistant at the moment, it’s silly.Hello, I don't post here much but just want to vent a bit. I didn't think I'd live to see the effects of global warming, we talk about coasts going under water but actually this hotter summers even by a few degrees have such a change on me.
Hopefully my attachment works, last week it was much cooler from Tuesday to Friday - around 21 to 23c. Saturday kicks in and we're back to 26c and you can see how it pushes my insulin resistance up. Keep tweaking the basal but not to much effect. Even went for a jog on Friday and that didn't seem to make a difference.
I'm welcoming the cooler weather again.
For reference, top line is readings, purple is carbs, pink is bolus and brown basal.
I LURVE lemon cake.....Recipe is linked in my post, but here it is again

I also do a very nice lemon one. I love cake.
Happy birthday melEvening all! Had a lovely birthday day out with the fam, despite living here for nearly fourteen years, I’d never been inside Cardiff Castle, so we went there. Was amazing! Sugars running in the low fours all day, I think my “shark week” basal is too aggressive so I’ve backed it off a bit.
And now I’m in my pyjamas with a goblet of pink wine and am about to eat my birthday cake.
Recipe says it’ll serve two, and it will. Me, twice.
13g carbs for the whole thing
@smc4761 - going pretty well considering it’s only my 5th day with it, I think!
Just wishful thinking slipStrange morning, 15mmol - no idea where that came from! but pain level is lower - could this be the start of it settling down...........I *expletive* hope so!
@karen8967 did you really think it was Friday?!?!
Do you have different music for different tasks?
I wonder what toons you will be playing as you bake and eat the cake recipe from @Mel dCP
Oh and, morning one and all. Hope it is a fun/productive/pain-free/positive (delete as applicable) day.
Nothing so good as travelling on a gentle ocean swell. Maybe a nearby dolphin splash caused the little wave. Pushing through the wave leads to calmer water.Morning all! Smooth sailing overnight, but a little hump in the line since nine o’clock, so I’ll do a spot of fiddling with my rates to iron it out. Correcting quite aggressively to get into range just now... quiet one today, husband’s birthday tomorrow but I don’t know what he wants to do yet.
Hope you’re all well xxx
