Morning all. Dexcom rudely interrupted me at 3.50 this morning to tell me I was steadily rising. Dragged myself out of bed for a bolus jab. Came in just above going low at 6.45. Just gotta be careful not to over correct now :).
DIY for daughter today, sugars could go their own way whilst I'm preoccupied doing stuff. I'll try to keep them in check:banghead:

9.5 this morning. Proper hungry today after a low carb day yesterday I’m going to eat 60g of porridge with blueberries and pecan and salt and whole milk. Got a busy morning mowing the church lawn so really I should take less insulin than I need HOWEVER that will mean an hour or so beforehand of highs. What to do?

Morning my lovelies, the aggressive correction I took at bedtime for my 9.3 seems to have had absolutely zero effect, woke at 2am with a start with it at 9.7... chucked 2.5u NovoSluggish in and woke up just now with a 6.1 :) I’ll take that as a win for now.

Got a commission today, so I shall be melting in my shed... Silversmithing in summer sucks!

Hope you all have a lovely, stable day :cat:

Just reading your wonderful description of it is making my sugars rise:):).
Have a good day.
Try not to “rage bolus” ;)

Hope you have a good day creatively.

Morning, 6.5 to begin the day - slap bang in the middle of my target range :). Small correction from just over 10 before bed worked dandy. Just had my porridge and morning cuppa now I'm off to work for the day.

MORNING!

Bed at 23:00 BG @ 7.4 Corrected with 3u NovoR and woke up 07:00 on 4.3 :)

had to have 15g Carbs before breakfast to correct.

Have a good day everyone.

Morning everyone, blood sugar was nice and stable overnight, I did a small 1 unit correction just before 2 am, as it reached .7.9, but since then it's been hovering between 6 and the low 7s. My cells are going to start thinking they are in the wrong body if this carries on.

Had oats for breakfast, I suppose it's not porridge unless it's cooked, but it was nice.

Hi all 7.7 when I woke up, I'm happy with that. 4u Humalog for 1 1/2 slices LoveLife (trying it this week for the first time) with butter & grated cheddar. Decent walk with the dog, back to find I'm 4.8 by Libre and falling. So I'm sitting here, had a cup of tea & a chocolate biscuit which was very nice and I need as I'm about to do some fairly physical gardening but I do resent having to eat when I'd rather not. Especially as I'd like to lose some weight rather than put it on.

Have had a look at this and will give it a go. Obviously you would add spices to suit own taste. Did you add any sweetener, or leave them?
There was so,e erythritol in the jam, I didn’t put any in the Welsh cakes, because I don’t really have a sweet tooth any more! Lots of allspice and cinnamon :)

What a nightmare night. Woke up at 1.30am dripping in sweat. Libre telling me Lo, Accu check telling me the same. Decided to raid the fridge and the Jelly Babies!! Not the best idea. Woke at 7 with a 28!!! No ketones. BIG correction dose. Now having a 13.3 with a straight down arrow.. Feeling like poo at the mo. Libre graph looks like a mountain range.

Do NOT eat everything in the fridge while having a hypo

I’m finally back in range with a 4.7!

Going to make fish and chips for dinner, cod coated in grated halloumi cheese for a crunchy coating with turnip chips. Reckon it’ll come it around 7g carbs, which makes me quite happy.

Hope you’ve all got nice evenings ahead, smooth BG, and no diabetic surprises xxx

I saw that on FB....looked VERY nice
