Flipping ‘eck, I was just calling it by the name the members themselves gave it! They call it Old Lady Sewing Club, everyone in the village calls it Old Lady Sewing Club. That’s it’s name.
 
A stitch in time saves 9 so moving swiftly on the .5u correction started dropping me so I ate a scotch egg, about to head to the pool with a slow rising 8.1 and hoping not to drop under 5 as I'm to the gym after that,.

Hoping for an Indian summer next
 
All was going swimmingly today until I had a bleeder with my lunchtime injection. Must have started to absorb faster as I soon ended up in a hypo just after finishing my food!

@Karen- I have had the same issue with mine :/

Busy week. Lots of pressure on at work as we are due visits/observations from the LA. Frustrating as I feel my job is about ticking boxes for them
at the moment - rather than focusing on what my class actually need

Back to swimming tonight - need some me time.

@Mel dCP hope tonight goes well. We have our parent teacher meetings at the end of the term.
 
Good evening all. After my disaster with the holiday fridge cooling my Tresiba to the point the pen wouldn't work I am happy to say that my bloods have been 80% single figures today
. Turkey is boiling so that is helping keep them down and we walked around 9km today. Just out for food now at an amazing waffle shop. God help my bloods later....

@porl69 good news it's still working as it sounded worrying, diabetes always puts an extra dimension to holidaying doesn't it sunny here but there's a nip in the air so no shorts for me today and it won't be long before the thermal vests come out.
 
Morning everyone,

Miscalculated my bolus yesterday lunch time, and messed up the whole day, so it's been a bit overly keen to hang around in the 8s and 9s, so going to turn a little aggressive now, and push it back into the 5s and 6s.

I joined a cute little beginner guitar class, I've been playing it for years, but I'm completely self taught, so I want to fill in a few little gaps in my knowledge, and absolute beginner is the only course option offered by our Council's wonderful adult education service.

I've been practising "you are my sunshine", we're only using 4 strings at the moment, though, so I'm using a ukulele style strum.
 

Did you use the interweb to help to learn guitar? I work in a 'monkey see, monkey do' style and YouTube has been my friend there I find an Aussie guy, Justin Sandercoe to be very helpful...

Or with me being tone deaf as helpful as I'll get
 
6.4 before bed, 9.4 this morning - probably the spaghetti kicking in late..............or the honey roasted peanuts after that.........
 
Forgot my basal last night. Not a disaster but annoying.
