Morning all from early afternoon in sunny, cool but lovely Greece.
Bloods have been having a whale of a time after a very early flight, a long journey, and since then lots of lovely Greek food. Best of all though is lovely friends and the time to relax away from the U.K. aim to get back on T1 track today.

Struggling to keep numbers up in work today despite less insulin with breakfast upside ive had a few biscuits what i normally wouldnt of had only in work till 12 cos i take my paperwork home with me

Home for a coffee, at 7.8 and the most minute red blob on the Libre where I was a fraction too slow eating at breakfast, twice in 2 days I've done that :) and they're recorded as low glucose events when they really aren't [stamping foot smiley]'

Warm enough for shorts and a t shirt looking west and dark, grey and wet looking to the east, I'm in the shorts and t shirt so am keeping my eye on it :)

Afternoon all! Been at old-lady-sewing-club this morning, and metal bashing in the shed when I got back, so only just coming online. Got an interview in a couple of weeks for a “volunteer community first responder” with the Ambulance service, basically an on call first aider. Sounds quite interesting, so fingers crossed...

Parent-teacher bearpit evening this afternoon, I see wine in my future. I hate these things with a passion.

Been at old-lady-sewing-club this morning,

That's a bit of an unnecessarily derogatory term to use to describe this event.

Every year my local council runs a quite large number of adult education sewing classes, and every year they fill up before I get round to joining any classes, it's a very popular activity, and rightly so.

Not really, they’re all over 80, and that’s what they call it!

Ask them if they want to change your insulin to a cheaper one.........oh and test strips, and anything else whilst you're on the phone :hilarious: give'em 'ell!

And point out Becton Dickson viva pen needles are both better and the same 'formulary' price as the GlucoRX ones!

Hmmmm..............what happens in the sewing club should stay in the sewing club. I hope you'll use my reverential language when referring to these fine mature ladies, next time.
