Morning all.
Woke at 1a.m. to 3.9, fruit pastilles eaten so an hour later 6.3
Sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep
Unsurprisingly real wake up 5.45 saw Madam BG swanning around at 8.9 so had to correct that because I know that liver will join in the part and have a dump later.
The good news is I plant the last of the 50 tulips. Shall I but some more?

Good morning y'all 8.8 waking and at 9.3 now, been in limits overnight so I'm getting back to normal

I may have the morning off work, the fact it's raining and blowing a gale doesn't come into it, I'm going to skive grrrrr

Oh dear a dreadful night and I cant explain my BG at all

Just before dinner at 6pm BG was 4.8 and going down, so had dinner, home made soup and baked potato and tuna and bolused for this after meal. Couple hours later 11.4 and at bedtime 8.2. Overnight my BG normally either stays steady or Dawn P kicks in around 4. I decided not to correct. Took usual dose of Levemir about 10.15

Woke at 2am, my usual time now for having a night hypo, used to be 3 am. Libre says LO, so a wee panic. Grab a handful of jelly beans and go down stairs as this actually did feel low. Finger test says 2.4, oooops. Kettle on and in meantime grab a glass of coke and down that. Waiting for kettle to boil, another finger test about 5 mins after first one 2.2. Now really panicking. Coffee , 4 sugars, yeeeeeuch and a couple of biscuits. Another finger test 2.1, aw CR AP.

Wait a few minutes and finally 2.5. 10 mins later its now 3.6.

Woke at 4am, 14.5, so correction dose only a small one and at 7am its 15.0. Got raging headache

Cant think of any reason for the massive drop from 8.2 to 2.1 as there would have been no Novo slow on board and would not think Levemir would be working that quick
 
Weird day yesterday where I kept being high after meals so wondered if the new vial of Humalog which I started yesterday morning was off. 12.3 at bedtime, corrected, slid down gently to apparently sit at just below 4 from about 2 am till I woke up at 6.30 at 4.8. Bolused, breakfast, now 8.8 and rising. I'm feeling unsure whether I was hypo and this is the result or whether this really is duff insulin. Just another little problem to resolve...
 
Morning all, new sensor last night, doing what most new sensors do, and being unreliable.

Blood sugar overnight was doing what it seems to do at the moment, rising until midnight, and then falling slowly until morning. I don't know how long this pattern will last for.

Morning in the low 4s, waiting for it to rise a bit.
 
@smc4761 No idea why your BSL would drop like that, me I would just put it down to ~its just me~ because things like that happen to me a lot massive drop or rise, sometimes I can work it out, most of time it is mystery.

Not much use I know but guess it is just a case of your not the only one

11.2 well 10.5 on Bloods that would be the rice from last night, which is OK, thought that would happen, shoved a large amount of insulin in like 15.5 to cover the 11.2 plus the carb laden breakfast and at the moment holding steady at 8.7 which is interesting. Saying that, it will be interesting to see if I start to see Etch A Sketch going up like it normally happens.

On a side note: have fun ladies planting all those bulbs but take care of your backs and remember planting always goes better with coffee/tea and cake

Today I will be mostly trying to ignore my work college while thinking of more creative ways of cursing this SQL System.
 
Morning gentlebeings......

Went playing squash at 7.30 last night.....First time in 25 years......

Had evening meal and insulin at 6pm.
Had roughly 70g of carbs but took just 2.5 units of novorapid.
Blood test just before game 13.5 just after 7.5.
Had a few sweets at 9pm then blastations 13.9 at 10.30pm
Took 1.5 correction went to bed and bingo 5.2 this morning at 5.30am

Playing again next week so with a little bit of tweaking I should be ok.
Knocked out 2 reindeer before bed too........

So 10.2 before tea yesterday evening, I actually weighed and worked out carbs 'precisely'* and 7.1 before bed, not too bad and had some insulin still on board so thought (why do I think??) that would do me nicely. 12.6 this morning.........

*I normally have a good educated guess but randomly check by weighing my food to confirm my guess isn't far off and it usually isn't. Like last night I would have said 50g carbs, weighing it all and using a combination of algebra, long division, slide rules and a scientific calculator I was able to determine I was fractionally about 5g over, give or take
