Good morning y'all

A flat line all night, shame it was up at 11.6 but I had my jab 40 mins before getting up so I don't need to wait as long for my porridge I didn't have an extra 1/2 u this time trying to avoid being as 'twitchy' in the heat today, I think I'll wear a hat also as my heads going all 'swan vestas'

Take care and keep supping water!

Hacked off this morning...
12.1 at 5.30am...I've been a bit too low this last 2 mornings so had a bit extra to eat last night.
Now look and to cap it off I've taken extra insulin and 3 hours on I'm still 7.9.

Happy times and places

Tony

Ok interesting night, got home last night and low, well lower than I wanted to be, how to solve this CAKE
I am on way out later so what for tea?
Pizza
Work out that it is around 100grams of carbs stuff some insulin in plus bit more for the cake (round 12 units I think), which oddly enough is less than I have been doing if this was a couple of weeks ago.

OK fine becasue I know that that lot will hit later on.

Go see friend out to pub, check bs (blinking libre makes you so blinking obsessinve) round 4.2 OK J2O drink it is.

All fine get home round midnight, no red moon last night but did see Mars down in the south east I think really red

Check again up to 11.6 OK fine drop some more insulin in,

This morning 9.5 Cool

I'm happy altough I seem to have made the coffee to strong again

Morning All how the rest of you?

I is continuing to swear like a trooper at this test rig as I try and make it work.

Morning everyone, I decided to increase the evening dose of Levemir from 7 to 8 units last night, because I decided those 3 am rising blood sugars were a bit frequent, and there was sufficient headroom at the low end, to avoid hypos. I had a spike to 12 after my evening meal, but once that was under control I managed to go to sleep with a blood sugar of about 6.0 and woke with it in the 4s, which is absolutely fine by me.

Because of the evening meal spike I don't have a full picture of what might happen without intervention, but I'll try it again tonight, and see.

Going to be warmer here today, which will be nice, hopefully.

Morning all, steady in the 6s all night then a straight and up arrow at 6.22 so added an extra 0.5 to the DP dose. Early extras needed for breakfast an hour later. Wish the ruddy thing would make its mind up! I think it was just an attention-seeking liver shout earlier, another toddler ruse.

Good luck with the pump meeting today @porl69

Another hypo from 2am but didn't wake till 6am despite fumbling around in my sleep to pull my cannula out..so an adjustment today on basal, as it's 2 nights this week now.. A liver dump later and i'm 13.9 so taking a half day at work

Thank you @Juicyj. Pump meeting was yesterday. My dietitian told me to expect an email sometime today. To say I am nervous is an understatement. BUT I have met all the criteria for one now. I keep on checking my emails, not expecting it until after lunch

@porl69 have you any idea which pump you might be getting, he says looking positively!?

I was told that I had a choice of 3 pumps. Omnipod, Medtronic 640G and the AccuCheck Combo. Now I love my Expert BG tester BUT am very unsure on the combo so that one went straight out of the window. I like the idea of tubeless BUT I think I would probably be knocking the pod off all the time. So my choice is the 640G. I will, possibly, get the Enlite CGM for a trial period to go with the pump but can't see the health board funding it all the time. I am hypo unaware VERY hypo unaware and the 640G can suspend basal in the case of a detection of a downward trend of the Enlite sensor

ive got my appointment at pump clinic on the 3rd of july (thought it was august for some reason but just received txt )i was initially very nervous but im feeling quite positve now

Same here....I was asked about a pump around 6 months ago and told the dietitian NO straight away as it scared me to death, but after looking into them, a LOT, I beleieve it would be the correct choice for me. Good luck with your meeting AND keep us informed.
Good luck with this and I'll keep my fingers crossed you get one.
Thank you @kev-w

I'll also be keeping my fingers crossed for you @porl69 also good choice of pump (not just because I have one) but as you've said it has the auto suspend function.

Personally I can't see them refusing you on this, but even if they do push push push, you have to be really pushy to get access, I was refused first time, second time accepted, probably to shut me up..
