Good luck with the pump meeting today @porl69
Another hypo from 2am but didn't wake till 6am despite fumbling around in my sleep to pull my cannula out..so an adjustment today on basal, as it's 2 nights this week now..A liver dump later and i'm 13.9 so taking a half day at work
@porl69 have you any idea which pump you might be getting, he says looking positively!?
ive got my appointment at pump clinic on the 3rd of july (thought it was august for some reason but just received txt )i was initially very nervous but im feeling quite positve nowI was told that I had a choice of 3 pumps. Omnipod, Medtronic 640G and the AccuCheck Combo. Now I love my Expert BG tester BUT am very unsure on the combo so that one went straight out of the window. I like the idea of tubeless BUT I think I would probably be knocking the pod off all the time. So my choice is the 640G. I will, possibly, get the Enlite CGM for a trial period to go with the pump but can't see the health board funding it all the time. I am hypo unaware VERY hypo unaware and the 640G can suspend basal in the case of a detection of a downward trend of the Enlite sensor
6.4 with a perfect straight line last night. And should know the outcome of the pump meeting at the hospital today
Same here....I was asked about a pump around 6 months ago and told the dietitian NO straight away as it scared me to death, but after looking into them, a LOT, I beleieve it would be the correct choice for me. Good luck with your meeting AND keep us informed.ive got my appointment at pump clinic on the 3rd of july (thought it was august for some reason but just received txt )i was initially very nervous but im feeling quite positve now
Thank you @kev-wGood luck with this and I'll keep my fingers crossed you get one.
